Rubus x 'Ebony King' (Thornless Blackberry)

Most cultivated blackberries are crosses between numerous species of Rubus which produce black fruit which is an aggregate fruit. Fruiting normally occurs on 2 year old canes. New canes emerge from the crown in Spring. Upright, thornless canes with large sweet fruit midseason.
