Rubus x 'Brazos' (Blackberry)

Most cultivated blackberries are crosses between numerous species of Rubus which produce black fruit which is an aggregate fruit. Fruiting normally occurs on 2 year old canes. New canes emerge from the crown in Spring. Erect canes produce large yields of large fruit, good for cooking.
