Rubus occidentalis 'Cumberland' (Black Raspberry)

Black raspberry prefer soils with high levels of organic material. First year shoots should be tipped when they reach 24" to promote lateral branching. Fruiting occurs on 2 year old canes. Vigorous upright habit. Bears large, sweet black berries midseason.
