Ilex verticillata 'Red Sprite' (Winterberry Holly)

Deciduous native holly with a suckering habit and tolerant of moist conditions. Male and female plants, with the females producing red berries persistant into winter. Compact growth. Red berries larger than typical of the species. Pollinator: 'Apollo' or 'Jim Dandy'.
