Carya illinoinensis 'Sumner' (Pecan Tree)

Broad oval crown producing edible fruit in the fall. Pecans are an important horticultural crop for the South but do produce a high level of litter when leaves and nuts abscise in the fall. Very prolific in its nut production. Nuts are large and long and of good quality.
