Carya illinoinensis 'Desirable' (Pecan Tree)

Broad oval crown producing edible fruit in the fall. Pecans are an important horticultural crop for the South but do produce a high level of litter when leaves and nuts abscise in the fall. A heavy producing tree with large nuts that fill out well and is an early bearer.
