Carya illinoinensis 'Cape Fear' (Pecan Tree)

Broad oval crown producing edible fruit in the fall. Pecans are an important horticultural crop for the South but do produce a high level of litter when leaves and nuts abscise in the fall. This cultivar produces a heavy crop of thin shelled nuts at an early age.
